I believe names are more than a handle that turns us around, especially biblical names that identify or describe us. Many names have an inspiration or empowering aspect to their nature. Every time a name is mentioned, a corresponding action takes place in the sound. The sound speaks positively or negatively, building faith or crippling it, depending on the ear hearing. Abram was changed to Abraham in order to build faith and change an image within. Jabez meant “pain”…thereby resulting in his prayer, “may I not cause pain”.
When the Lord inspired us to receive the name Praise, I couldn’t help feeling He desired a people who would do exactly that…Praise Him! He wanted a sound that would be expressed from the heart. People who couldn’t keep quiet…Jesus said if the children were to be hushed in His presence, the rocks would “cry out”! One of my favorite worship songs today declares, “With my hands raised and my heart abandoned…” that describes this Praise.
Praise is to be a natural spiritual expression of a grateful heart. Emotional, worked up, spiritual hype trying to get God to do something He really doesn’t want to do in the first place, is not what praise is about. The reason praise can seem awkward is, we haven’t seen it done, let alone expressed in church. Clap your hands…shout unto God…Really? It is the language of the Book of Psalms. Check it out.
Not only is Praise a design for proper spiritual protocol, it is a place that sets up His spiritual throne over our lives!
3 But You are holy,
Enthroned in the praises of Israel.
Praise is an atmosphere for miracles…the Lord demonstrates His love for us.
I believe this is why miracles happen in worship! Headaches leave, habits break, love replaces hate, forgiveness is received and we leave knowing we are very special to Him.
Praise is a privilege that welcomes us, and gives us access to a most holy God. Praise permits His power to come into our lives and circumstances. What’s so amazing to me is this: come as you are no special dress or words that must be spoken. No membership required…Praise is totally user friendly, even kids can do it!
As you come into the Sanctuary, come with a heart of praise. After all that is said and done, He is Worthy!

…Get a Routine in 2013!
That was the Word, the Lord spoke to me. At the close of each year I ask the Lord for a “prophetic word” or saying that would help guide us through the New Year. Sometimes it rhymes, others not…but none the less a statement to assist us, remind us, and build our faith. So as we closed out 2012 (administrating life’s decisions by His Grace…) I saw the decisions we made, now it was time to settle in to those decisions.
Routine establishes the decisions and brings a level of security and peace to our life. In others words we don’t often get it done the first time. Routine brings repetition that builds and establishes the decisions we have made.
Each year we make resolutions that we never keep. The problem, the Lord says is we fail to establish them with Routine…So Get a Routine in 2013!
Thanks for visiting our website…

Blessings friends of the Voice of Praise.
Several years ago the Lord spoke to Pastor Greg’s heart that He had prepared a radio audience who needed and wanted to hear the Word in a manner prepared especially for them. Pastor Greg responded and began the Voice of Praise radio broadcast. Pastor’s weekly topics over the years have been bold, inspiring, spirit-filled, and your feedback has proven it to be effective in your lives.
Throughout the gospels Jesus showed us that He always has a way to work things out. He turned water into wine and saved a wedding. He sent Peter to catch a fish with a coin in its mouth in order to pay taxes and prevent causing an offense in the community. I’m sure you can think of many more.
Well, I write this today believing the Lord has instructed us, Pastor Greg, and and Praise Fellowshp Church, to use this website to “work things out” with the Voice of Praise radio broadcast. Throughout the life of the Voice of Praise it has been funded by the generous offerings of the members of Praise Fellowship Church, and supplemented by the churches general fund. Now, the Lord has instructed us to ask you to join in and help us keep it on the air.
So today I thank you for visiting our site. I believe just as He prepared an audience to hear this radio program he has prepared some to support its continuing work. Will you please pray and consider what the Lord would have you do. Whether now is your time to support the program financially, or not, please take this opportunity to listen to the radio program and Praise Fellowship Church sermon archives. And as long as you are here, please leave us a note and let us know how the Voice of Praise radio program is affecting your day to day walk (or as Pastor Greg would say, you’re Tuesday Afternoon).

Blessings, in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
I just wanted to welcome you to our new Voice of Praise website. We have completed many of the behind the scenes tasks and the content is up to date.
We are working to add to the archives. Please continue to check back often as the site will continue to mature, grow, change, and offer new things.
Hmmm, sounds a lot like our relationships with the Lord
